Digital Photo Upload

Digital photo cards make for memorable holiday greetings,birth announcements and party invitations, which is why many recipients save them as keepsakes long after they have been sent. Please ensure that the quality of your cards will make a lasting impression by abiding by these general guidelines:

The digital camera you use to take your photo should be at least 3 megapixels (this means that a camera phone will generally not suffice)
For digital cameras the quality setting should be set to 7 or higher
The dimensions of your photo should not be smaller than 5.25 wide by 3.5 high (1575 x 1050 pixels).
Make sure your camera’s digital zoom feature is turned off before taking a photo
If you are scanning an already printed photo, set the resolution of your scanner to 300 DPI or higher
Most of our manufacturers do not offer cropping, picture rotation, zooming or color correction. Depending on the nature of your photo and the type of paper used, printed photos may have color variations from the original digital file.

TIP: Please consider how your image orientation corresponds to the overall card orientation. A vertical photo will look best in a vertical layout and a horizontal photo will be best suited for a horizontal layout.

Keep in mind that the quality of the final product depends heavily upon the quality of the original photo you submit. If you are unsure read your camera’s manual to learn more about how to create the best print-quality photo.

Once you have placed your order please email your digital file as a JPEG file to info@estationeryandgifts.com with your name and order number in the message.

How long will my order take? TOP

Turnaround time depends on the following factors:

whether a proof is involved
production time based on manufacturer
where the order is shipping from and to
shipping method (i.e. ground, overnight or second day air)

If you will be viewing a proof, please expect to receive it via email according to the chart below.
Your order is considered “in production” when one of the following occurs:

an order is placed by you (with no request for a proof, or a proof is not offered)
your proof approval is received (on orders where a proof was requested)
